I’m home from work. Like everyone, we all have days that are harder, busier than others. You see it in my face, as I smile at you and put my things on the counter, and you give me a soft kiss to welcome me home.
“Go to the chest and bring out my paddle.” The tone of your voice, flicks a switch in my head, and I am that mixed up bundle of anticipation, happiness, nervousness, turned on, too many things to try and explain, as I do as I’m told.
You know what I need.
